The name translates as ‘cider of the forest’, in reference to the family's boutique estate (better known for making fine Prosecco D.O.C), nestled between the banks of the Piave river and the beautiful Montello hill in the majestic region of Nervesa Della Battaglia, Treviso.
Sidro del Bosco is a small batch produced cider, light gold in colour with a gentle effervescence, citrus aromas and a crisp refined flavour. It has a distinctly Italian character, derived from the regions award winning apples.
The new brand and subsequent bottle design reflects the rich heritage of the family and the estate, the honesty of its production, as well as appealing to the new, savvy cider connoisseur.
The first batch is currently being bottled for launch in Summer 2016.
